With many lakes, parks, and sporting venues, recreational activities in the Oconomowoc area are abundant and change with the seasons.

When it comes to shopping, the Oconomowoc area does not disappoint. From small, specialty and artisan boutiques, to a 60-store premium outlet mall, to more than one million square feet and over 170 stores in one of the newest and most modern lifestyle centers in the Midwest, you are sure to find what you are looking for (and likely many other things in the process!).

The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors a number of events throughout the year, including street dances during the summer, a Farmer’s Market every Saturday from May through October and Gallery Night events in May, August and November. On Thursday evenings throughout the summer, the Badgerland Water Ski Show Team presents free shows on Fowler Lake. Concerts are held throughout the summer in the community band shell. Oconomowoc’s annual Christmas parade celebrates the holiday season.
